Takkah kau pernah sadari keindahan mentari ketika ia mulai menyingsing?

Tentang Seorang Gadis Kecil

Gadis itu termenung, termenung sendiri ditemani setumpuk buku

Matanya melihat pada buku, tapi aku tahu, pikirannya tidak di sana

Angan-angannya terbang, di antara awang-awang biru dan mendarat di sebuah rumah kecil

Ada seseorang yang telah menyita semua perhatiannya di sana

Sambil membaca buku, gadis itu bersenandung,

“Hei, kamu. Apa yang membuatku tidak bisa berhenti memikirkanmu? Ini semua membuatku gila, hanya kau yang bisa membenarkannya.”

Karena meski ia begitu dirindukan saat gelap menyapa
Karena meski cahayanya sangat dinanti
